No Tax Credit Extension
Tax credit extension failed to pass. Just heard from Wells Fargo.
Las Vegas is already seeing the impact from the tax credit ending. Many REO brokers and fellow Realtors have noticed a drop in the amount of sign calls and offers from buyers. Sales down 33% in May.
I think the tax credit should be permanent. By purchasing homes they positively affect the economy. New home owners buy appliances, have carpet installed, get houses painted, and contribute taxes to the community. It helps eveyone!
